Violins can be so beautiful. There's this piece by Brahms' (you'd probably know who is by his lullaby) and it has such a beautiful melody and it involves violins. However, that probably doesn't bring you any farther from your hatred toward the violin. Why do you hate it so much? Because you're forced to play? I'm sorry, you've probably said why before, but I've forgotten...

I don't use Suzuki books. Never even heard of them. However, it definitely sounds like he's amazing. The main thing is, though, does he enjoy it? I'm assuming so, but you know, maybe it's just something he does, haha.

I'm sorry your mother pressures him so much. Certain parents feel that they have to constantly push their children to make them reach their full potential, but sometimes they're not ready or need a break. I understand why you might want to, but I'm glad my parents aren't like that. I'm too self-critical anyway, haha.

But I always have to be in a certain, super focused/intense drawing mood for it to come out well. x3
